Conventions used everywhere
- Response envelope —
{ "ok": true, "data": {…}, "meta": {…} }/
{ "ok": false, "error": { "code", "message", "details" } }. Branch on ok; quote meta.request_id (or the X-Request-Id header) when reporting a problem.
- Time — every stored timestamp is UTC in
Y-m-d H:i:s; API responses use
ISO-8601 with a Z suffix; the UI converts to the viewer's zone.
- IP addresses —
ip_publicis the external, routable address and is
always the primary value. ip_internal is a separate, secondary field for an observed LAN address. ip_method records how the public address was determined (direct, proxy, cdn, header, unknown).
- IDs — surrogate integers internally; agents use their own stable
agent_id; public URLs may carry short codes.
- Locales —
?lang=<code>wins over every other signal; 66 catalogs are
generated into web/i18n/<code>.json by php scripts/build_i18n.php.
